Bhai Gurdas Ji

All tiraths and places of pilgrimage pray for and seek the holy dust of the lotus feet of true saints in order to regain their original splendour and fragrance. And it is the holy dust of such like sacred feet that restores these tirathas to their original purity, spiritual power and shakti by washing off the accumulated sins thereat.

	All the holy places of pilgrimage established by gods crave for the dust of the holy feet of the saints.

When all the tirathas and sacred rivers and places of pilgrimages worship these lotus feet and off-load their accumulated sins in the holy dust of such sacred feet, let us also swim across this burning ocean of Samsara by holding fast to these lotus feet of our beloved Satguru.

By surrendering at these holy feet, we can also off-load all our burden and worries thereat and travel light the journey of short span of our life.

With total surrender one is totally consumed in the Grace Divine of the Beloved Satguru Nanak,

Sri Guru Angad Sahib totally surrendered Himself at the lotus feet of Sri Guru Nanak Sahib and rose up as Sri Guru Nanak the Second. Sri Guru Amar Das Ji totally surrendered himself at the holy feet of Sri Guru Nanak the Second and rose up as Sri Guru Nanak the Third. Sri Guru Ram Das Ji surrendered His all at the lotus feet of Sri Guru Nanak the Third and rose up as Sri Guru Nanak the Fourth and so on. Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj totally surrendered Himself at the lotus feet of Sri Guru Granth Sahib, the Guru Eternal, the living Guru Nanak and Shines eternally at the Pinnacle of all Spiritual Glory.

Similarly, when the Lord Guru Nanak sets or implants His Holy Feet in a pure heart, that person becomes a centre of pilgrimage, he becomes holy, adorable and worshipable. Having been thus blessed he becomes a living Temple of God. Only such a person is entitled to be called a Saint, a Brahm Giani, a Gurmukh, a Harjan and he becomes a blessing to humanity.

For a true Sikh, lotus feet of the beloved Satguru is a heaven of Bliss, spiritual peace and joy and Abode Eternal. Immersed in the fathomless depth of this ocean of Bliss, one loses one's 'I' ego and separate individuality and identity and experiences a taste of eternity in one's own luminous soul.
